Chris Duindam started his studies with Qui van Woerdekom at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and later with Maarten Veeze in Amsterdam. He completed his masters degree with Philip Hirshhorn, Viktor Liebermann and Emmy Verhey at the Conservatory in Utrecht.
Besides his career as a chamermusician and soloist he is the concertmaster of the chamberorchestra Camerata Antonio Lucio wich he founden in 1992 together with Emmy Verhey. This orchestra focusses on young Dutch talent and Duch music and made four CD's.
Chris is a teacher at the conservatories of Groningen, Tilburg and Utrecht. He also gives masterclasses in the Netherlands and abroad.
