Veselina Manikova



Veselina Manikova, born in Bulgaria, studied violin at the State Academy of Music in Sofia. In 2003 she finished her studies at the Prince Claus Conservatoire with Emi Resnick and continued het studies with Vera Beths in The Hague. Veselina was awarded many awards such as the First Prize in Chamber Music Fontainebleau and the Special Award of the Markov Totevy Foundation New Jersey. She performed in, amongst others, the Sleeswijk Holstein Music Festival in Germany, the Pacific Music Festival in Japan, the Chamber Music Academy Bohuslav Martinu in the Czech Republic and the Youth Academy Beyreuth in Germany. Veselina is substitute concert master of the North Netherlands Orchestra.
