Kanako Inoue
Kanako Inoue was born in Tokai, Japan. She studied Piano in Tokyo, Toho high school of music and Toho Gakuen college of music with professor Fujiko Yamada.
In 2006 she came to The Netherlands for her Masterstudies with Martyn van den Hoek at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht. After this she studied fortepiano with Stanley Hoogland at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
Kanako Inoue got a superior prize by the Ibaraki Shinjin competition (competition for the classical newcomer musician in Ibaraki, Japan) in 2006. She was semi-finalist of the Vriendenkrans Concours/Het Debuut in 2008 of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Kanako performed on concerts in Austria, Italy, France, Netherlands, Indonesia and Japan.
Kanako is performing as a soloist and chamber musician with modern-piano and fortepiano, amongst others with Bernadeta Astari. This duo was selected for the final of the competition “Vriendenkrans Het Debuut in 2010-2012”. She tours through The Netherlands in the winter/spring of 2012 with a concert tour organized by the competition.
