Guy Wood

Guy Wood has studied Jazz, World and Western Classical music at The Leeds College of Music, Londons' Guildhall School of Music and Drama, New York and in The Netherlands. Guy has recently been busy in the studio with his drum ‘n bass cohort, JOW-FISHY aka Jo Wills, writing new material for Sion, their live drum ‘n bass project. Guy is currently writing material for his Jazz outfit, Hubcap, and playing the drums for Porpoise Corpus whilst working with various Break Beat, Rock and Jazz artists as a drummer. Besides this he worked as a producer on many studio productions.

Guy has also been involved within world music research projects for The Guildhall and ECCO International Education Project in the Gambia, which has seen him lead and tutor various creative composition workshops throughout the UK and Europe. Guy is currently working as teacher in the international master studies of the Prince Claus Conservatoire, the 'New Audiences and Innovative Practices', where he focusses on 'Leading and Guiding' and 'Performance and Communication'.
