Frank Brouns

Frank Brouns studied horn with Peter Hoekmeijer at the Conservatoire of Utrecht. He took part in many international masterclasses, for example in Trossingen, Wenen and Weimar with Peter Damm.
From 1986 to 1991 he was horn player in the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest in Hilversum. Since 1991 Frank Brouns is principal horn player at the Noord Nederlands Orkest in Groningen
Frank Brouns is very active as chamber musician and performed in a.o. Belgium, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. As solo player he performed repertoire by Mozart, Lasrron and Britten with the Noord Nederlands Orkest. Frank works as horn teacher at the Prince Claus Conservatoire in Groningen since 1995.
