Eelko Moolenaar

Eelko Moolenaar studied piano at the Prins Claus Conservatoire in Groningen. After his graduation he continued his studies with Noël Lee in Paris and with Jan Wijn in Amsterdam. During these years he focussed more on lied accompaniment and for this he studies with Felix de Nobel, George van Renesse and Hans Hotter in Munich.
Eelko Moolenaar performed many concerts with vocalists such as Bruno Laplante, Leena Kiilunen, Elena Vink, Meinard Kraak and Hans de Vries. From 1982 - 2001 he was accompanying pianist at the Conservatoire in Utrecht and had his own vocal class for vocalists and pianists. Since 2002 Eelko lives in Sweden.
