Eighty years ago French composer Maurice Ravel passed away. Together with Claude Debussy he was the face of French music in the beginning of th e20th century. His style is characterized as very refined and colourful. This is visible in various of his compositions, such as the Bolero or Dapnhis and Chloé. Ravel also refined these charasteristics in his chamber music. We present a large part of his chamber music works in two programs, combined with sons of his mentor, friend and source of inspiration Gabriel Fauré.
