'A tribute to Bernstein' is an hommage to this great American composer, who was born 100 years ago. He is mostly known for his musical, West Side Story, and his extravert way of directing. Besides this he has built an extensive and important oeuvre. And he was a source of inspiration for a whole generation of American composers. In this program you will hear seldomly performed repertoire of Bernstein and his friends Copland, Schuman, Rorem and Blitzstein. This way you will experience a lesser known but charming look on a tumultuous era of American music.

In the afternoon you can visit the exhibition
