Eva Stegeman

Eva Stegeman studied with Davina van Wely in The Hague and with David Takeno in London. She starred in many prestigious concert halls and festivals. Her repertoire stretches from early baroque to contemporary music. Eva recorded many cd’s and performs for radio and television regularly. She is part of a number of well-known ensembles, performs on(inter)national festivals and is artistic director of the International Chamber Music Festival The Hague, which she also founded.

Eva starred as a soloist with many orchestras such as the European Union Chamber Orchestra, the Orfeo Orchester Budapest, Sinfonia Rotterdam, the Arezzo Ensemble, Sinfonietta Amsterdam, the Bielefelder Symphoniker and Combattimento Consort Amsterdam. As concert master and principal she worked with the European Union Chamber Orchestra, the Rotterdams Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the East, the Brabants Orchestra, the Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn, the Belgium Kamerfilharmonie, the Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss am Rhein, Sinfonia Rotterdam and Combattimento Consort Amsterdam.

Eva Stegeman is principal of the Cristofori Piano Quartet, the Doelen Ensemble, Trio Storytelling and the Hortus Ensemble.
